เรื่องราวของผ้า
Linen ผลิตจากเส้นใยยาวในลำต้นของต้นแฟลกซ์ หลังเก็บเกี่ยว ลำต้นต้องผ่านกระบวนการ retting เพื่อช่วยแยกเส้นใยออกจากส่วนเนื้อไม้ จากนั้นจึงสาง ปั่น และทอเป็นผ้า ลินินจึงมีพื้นผิวและความไม่สม่ำเสมอที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์

Lyocell Linen blends the softness, moisture absorption, and fluid drape of lyocell with linen’s breathable, natural texture and distinctive character.
Fiber composition
Lyocell Linen is not a fixed composition. It describes a fabric containing both lyocell and linen in proportions that may vary—for example, 70% Lyocell / 30% Linen or 55% Lyocell / 45% Linen—and other fibers may also be present. Use the verified composition of the actual fabric code for labeling and customer communication.
The story
Linen is made from long fibers found in the flax stem. After harvest, the stems undergo retting to help separate fiber from the woody portion, followed by scutching, combing, spinning, and weaving. These steps contribute to linen’s characteristic texture and natural irregularity.
Blending linen with lyocell can retain this natural character while creating a softer, more fluid fabric than many pure-linen constructions. The actual result depends on fiber ratio, yarn count, weave, and finishing.
Special properties
- Softer than many linen fabrics: lyocell can reduce stiffness and add a smoother hand.
- Textural depth: linen introduces slubs and a naturally irregular appearance.

Important notes
The linen component may contribute creasing or shrinkage, while the lyocell component may fibrillate depending on construction and finishing. Color and surface character may change after washing. Conduct wash, shrinkage, and colorfastness tests before production.
Sustainability & Technical Note
Both fiber components may originate from plant-based feedstocks, but plant-based does not automatically mean low impact. Review pulp sourcing, flax cultivation, processing, energy, chemical management, and the end-of-life implications of the blend for the specific product.
